Listed on this page is a selection of personal, academic, and nonproprietary projects I completed.
In this project, I worked in a team of 4 to build a walking cane that can extend as a grabber and can also work as a golf club when turned the other way. I was responsible of designing the mechanism of the lever that can extend the two grabbers. We designed the product on SolidWorks then used some 3D printing and manufacturing to assemble the prototype.
In this project, I modeled a hammer head and handle on SolidWorks. After joining both parts in an assembly, a drawing sheet was formed and the appropriate measurements were listed for each part to be manufactured. With the assistance of my membership in SAE development, I obtained an FDEC red-badge clearance and was able to manufacture the Hammer out of a steel alloy. I used a manual lathe for the handle and a manual mill for the hammer head.
A part of my international Summer 2023 internship, I was responsible of modeling the diffusion of Nitrogen and Carbon in Nitrided Steels. The process was performed using Python 3.0, and it included the usage of curve-fitting techniques and machine learning algorithms. The predictive algorithm worked by providing it several experimental profiles of Carbon and Nitrogen at different temperatures and time, and it will then be able to accurately predict each profile at any specific parameter.
